Global Health Collaboration takes a wholistic approach to community health - addressing the full picture of what it means to thrive, not just the absence of disease. We serve the uninsured. underinsured, and underserved of North Alabama, meeting people where they are and walking alongside them toward better health and dignity.
Medical care
Too many people in The Shoals and surrounding areas go without basic medical care - not because they don’t need it, but because the nearest provider is an hour away, the wait is long, or the cost is simply out of reach.
We are working to bridge that gap by connecting community members with affordable, compassionate care - and building toward our flagship mobile health clinic that will bring care directly to the people who need it most.
Mental health
Mental Health care in rural communities is sparse. The providers who are present are overloaded, stigma is real, and most people quietly carry burdens they’ve never had the opportunity to address.
We believe mental wellness is healthcare. Our goal is to create accessible pathways to mental health support for individuals and families in need - because no on should have to suffer in silence simple because of where they live or what they can afford.
Food Security
Hunger and Health are inseparable. Food deserts are a reality across Alabama, and food insecurity drives chronic disease, poor outcomes, and generational hardship.
We are committed to supporting community based food security initiatives that put nutritious food within reach of every family we serve.
Education & awareness
Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools in healthcare. Many of the communities we serve lack access to reliable health information - leaving families unable to recognize warning signs, navigate the healthcare system, or advocate for their and their family’s care.
Through community outreach, health education, and awareness initiatives, we are working to put that power back in people’s hands. An informed community is a healthier community.

We are actively fundraising and planning for a mobile health clinic that will travel around The Shoals and surrounding areas offering medical care, screenings, referrals, and resources with no transportation barrier, no waiting list, and no exorbitant cost.
