Mercy ships is a 474 crew capacity ship that runs a surgical hospital on board. Each year the ship sails to a new coastal African country where the volunteers on board will serve in capacities ranging from hospitality, to engineering, to nursing all contributing to the goal of providing free surgeries for the poor. There is truly a job for everyone on board this ship as it takes a lot of roles to run a floating hospital; heck, they even have an accredited school for volunteer families' children!
